Masked Music 35

She patted the back of her head until she found the crease in the mask. She dug her fingers into it and lighting struck outside. She started to peel back the mask off her face. Her hair fell through the mask as it was covering less and less of her head. The rest of her body was surrounded by the tornado as it rearranged her clothes back into her pajamas. As the mask peeled off she started to moan in pain in a deep voice like she was dying. The more the mask came off the higher it would get. Her bright, green rubbery face started to age and wrinkle and become a darker green as it was peeling off. It was returning to its original shape and texture. Demi moved her hands to the chin of the mask and started to pull from there. The mask finally unwrapped around her lips and slowly started to peel of the rest of her face. It started to spread again on her forehead and it shot out a tentacle trying to grab around her ear to stay on. She pulled harder and the mask finally popped off sending out green smoke around her face. The mask snapped like a rubber band and turned back into wood.
She tried to find her balance and fell over on her dining room table. She caught her breath for a moment and looked at the mask. “You’re something else aren’t you?” She put it down and walked to her room to go to sleep. She was about to fall asleep when she realized she wasn’t freaking out about the mask any more. This freaked her out. She went back downstairs and grabbed the mask, put it in a closet and went to bed.
